Using Emails to Launch Wrkflow

Overview:

You can now launch any Wrkflow you want by sending an email to a mailbox. Just follow the steps shown in this article to launch your Wrkflow via email.

Steps to Launch the Wrkflow via Email:

1. Edit your Wrkflow and create Launch inputs for the fields you would like to capture from your incoming Emails. Confirm your inputs and save the Wrkflow.

2. In the Wrkflow Management screen, click on the three dots in the upper right corner on the Wrkflow card.

   ​

3. From the dropdown, select Email Trigger option

   

4. Provide the required Launch parameters and then go to the settings tab.

   ​

   

5. This Wrkflow will launch when emails are sent to the "Email trigger address"

   ​

   

6. Define the email values you would like to assign to the Launch inputs you created in Step 1.

   ​

   

7. Add a list of emails that are authorized to launch Wrkflows on your account. Use wildcards (*) to represent any block of text.

   ​

   

8. Click "Save Changes".

That’s it! Your Wrkflow will now run every time an Email is sent to the Email trigger address!

FAQ:

Q. What will happen if an email is sent to the email trigger address from an unauthorized email?

1. Nothing! Unauthorized emails will be ignored and will not launch Wrkflows.

Q. What will happen if my email has multiple attachments?

1. For each attachment in your email a new Wrkflow Launch will be started. Each Launch will contain the same Email information where the File is different for each launch.
